Five Longview school employees are on leave after officials investigate sexual assault claims

May 25, 2026 #Oregon#KATU#Portland Five Longview School District employees are on administrative leave as the investigation continues into the handling of sex assault allegations involving students at Mark Morris High School. Superintendent Karen Cloninger and Executive Director of Student Services Andrew Schoonover are among the five employees placed on leave. Cloninger was arrested May 21 on charges of tampering with a witness, failure to report, and obstructing a law enforcement officer. “It shouldn’t have taken us this long to get to this point,” one parent, Jess Waldo, told KATU News. “I’m very curious to see where things go from here.” READ MORE | https://katu.com/news/local/5-longvie…
